Job description

Intervention Teacher - Mornings only, boosting Literacy and Numeracy

  • Working with pupils in small groups to raise attainment
  • Plan for low, mixed and top ability groups to assist children in reaching their full potential
  • Be allocated time in the school day to prepare and plan lessons

We have been approached by a Primary School in the L35 area of Liverpool, for an Intervention Teacher to support pupils across all Key Stages for mornings only.

If you have a proven track record of raising attainment in Literacy and Numeracy and have used intervention techniques such as SPaG then the school would be interested in meeting with you.

Currently the position is part-time, which equates to 2.5 days per week, but this is open to negotiation dependant on the teacher and the impact they make in school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
