Literacy Intervention Teacher required for 'Outstanding' Primary School in Brent

  • Part-time position, 3days a week
  • £120+per day, depending on experience
  • Access to training courses such as; Autism Awareness, Team Teach

Are you a fully qualified teacher searching for an exciting opportunity to work in a Primary School that strives for excellence and are polite and show tolerance of others? Are you energetic, ambitious and charismatic?

About the School

This is a three-form entry school located in Kensal Rise and is approximately a 7minute walk from Kensal Rise over-ground station and approximately a 10 minute walk from Kensal Green underground station. The school are currently looking for an exceptional part-time Literacy Intervention teacher who is available to start from September 2016. This school is dedicated to ensuring that all pupils are well equipped to go on to university, or a career of their choosing.

About the role

*Working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

*Taking small groups between 4-8 children and assisting them with literacy lessons.

*Working on a 1:1 basis with lower ability children to improve their English

*Working on a 1:1 basis or 1:2 basis with children who have EAL

The ideal candidate:

*Will hold a QTS

*Has at least 6 months experience as an Intervention teacher

*Committed to raising pupil attainment

*Flexible and has sound knowledge of the national curriculum

*A valid DBS that is registered on the update service or willing to complete an application
