Life Skills Tutor

Have you coached or taught life skills, job skills or functional skills and are adept at supporting individuals with educational needs?

Our Special Needs school in Oldham are looking to employ a Life Skills Trainer on a part time basis to give students with additional needs the knowledge and skill to support themselves in later life.

No Teaching Qualification is required however experience in training or running sessions in one of the above areas is essential to deliver the appropriate skills. Ideally you will also have some experience in working with people with special educational needs.

The sessions will be based on learning how to complete day to day tasks such as cooking, money management, personal hygiene and house cleaning safely and effectively and as independently as possible. 

The role is available Monday to Wednesday on a permanent basis and we are looking to recruit immediately for this role, so please apply with an up to date CV!

Please be aware that all applicants must have an enhanced, child workforce DBS which is registered to the update service - if you do not have one we can assist with application!
