Opportunities to secure a long term/permanent positions across Lancashire and the Blackburn with Darwen area.

Level 3 and Team Teach qualifications are highly sought after and will be required to take up long term roles in our client schools.

Experience providing 1:1 support for pupils of a challenging nature is essential for this role and you will be expected to work with a number of staff members to pull together in order to improve behaviour.

Teaching Personnel is seeking to recruit a number of Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants with Team Teach qualifications in order to support children working in mainstream schools across the Blackburn with Darwen area. We currently supply 1:1 support assistants for a number of pupils with Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties, in a variety of Primary Schools across Blackburn with Darwen. Experience delivering interventions for behaviour and Maths and English would be of interest to the schools as well as experience in supporting children with special needs on a 1:1 basis. There are at least four client schools working with the Primary branch at the moment who have specified that the support assistants they take on to support children with behavioural needs will require a L3 qualification and Team Teach. The Team Teach qualification is available through certain providers and is only valid for a period of time following completion; so please ensure this is still in date and valid to be used.

If you are keen on finding out more about the work Teaching Personnel have, then please do not hesitate to contact me in the office. Likewise you can look at our recent reviews posting on GOOGLE REVIEWS. There are plenty of Teachers and Teaching Assistants who have joined us this year and taken long term work straight away. THIS COULD BE YOU!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
