Full-Time Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Community School in Preston
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming community school in Preston. This is a full-time, rewarding position working closely with pupils in Year 2, supporting them in bridging gaps in learning and helping them reach their full potential.
Working Hours:
8:30am – 3:30pm (Full Time)
About the Role
You will:
-
Work closely with Year 2 pupils to support learning across the curriculum
-
Deliver targeted interventions to help bridge learning gaps
-
Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
-
Monitor, track and report on pupil progress
-
Liaise confidently with teaching staff and provide clear feedback on learning outcomes
-
Contribute positively to our inclusive and supportive school environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-
Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification (essential)
-
Have experience working within a primary school setting, ideally KS1
-
Be confident communicating with teaching staff and reporting on pupil progress
-
Demonstrate patience, initiative, and a nurturing approach
-
Be committed to supporting children’s academic and personal development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
