Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Length of Role: Temp to perm – Starting ASAP
Pay Rate: £13.75 – £15.00 per hour
Type of Setting: Mainstream Primary School

We are looking for a motivated Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and community‑focused primary school in Chorley. This temp‑to‑perm opportunity offers a fantastic pathway for someone passionate about education and pupil development.

Working closely with teachers, you will help deliver engaging learning activities and provide essential support to pupils who may need extra guidance. Your role will be key in promoting confidence, independence and academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering both one‑to‑one and small‑group support
Assisting pupils with SEND to engage fully in learning
Helping prepare and organise classroom materials
Encouraging positive behaviour and participation
Supporting the wider school team where needed

About You:

Previous TA experience or relevant training is beneficial
Adaptable, patient and enthusiastic
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning
