Level 3 Teaching Assistant

I am currently working with an independent school looking for a level 3 Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP on a temp to perm basis.

You will be working in the after school club on a daily basis with opportunities to be aprt of the EYFS and KS1 department during the day if you require further hours. 

The school has extensive facilities and is curerntly OFSTED rating OUTSTANDING! 

To be considered for this role you;

- have a level 3 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent 

- be available 3-6pm every day 

- available ASAP 

You will be required to; 

Participate in planning put forward ideas for improvement which would, of course, change the list below and the position holder settles in and gets more confident and experienced in the role:

  • Confidence when dealing with parents as you are expected to form positive relationships with our hard working and supportive parent body
  • Maintain the order and cleanliness of the Teatime Club environment and equipment
  • Working with the Teatime Club members of staff with planning of events and activities and the Teatime Club display boards
  • Attend to pupils involved in minor accidents or incidents and look after the hygiene and health requirements.  You will need to be a qualified paediatric first aider
  • Assist in the promotion of development and learning (physical, social, emotional and behavioural)
  • Be vigilant and mindful of any pastoral issues and keep relevant members of staff informed
  • Give tea to the pupils, washing up and tidying up
  • Help sign out the pupils to their parents
  • Contribute the risk assessments as required
  • Running Art Activity

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.This will be a temporary position and may go permanent at a later date.
