- £12.90 - £14.50 per hour
- 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday, term time only

A large primary school in Darwen are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified a level 3 Teaching Assistant. The post is full- time and will be within Key Stage 1. Within this role you will be required to work within the whole class environment to support the class teacher and lead phonics intervention groups. The role will initially run for one academic year with the possibility to extend further.
The school ethos is centred around inspiring a life-long love of learning and shaping young people who are resilient, honest, and respectful. In their pursuit of excellence, the school have high expectations for all. The school is two- form entry, boasts a long-standing senior leadership team and talented practitioners throughout the key stages. The Head Teacher places great importance upon the development of her staff and is keen to facilitate training and progression opportunities. Located on the outskirts of Darwen, the school is easily accessible by both car and public transport.
Essential requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant
- Committed to providing high calibre support to children of all abilities and needs
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Punctual with excellent attendance
- Able to commit to role and school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
