Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (BL5)
Location: BL5, Greater Manchester
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Pay: £90 –£100 per day (dependent on experience)

A well-regarded secondary school in the BL5 area is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time position, offering a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4, including those with additional needs

  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering high-quality learning experiences

  • Working one-to-one or with small groups to boost progress and engagement

  • Helping to manage behaviour and promote a positive classroom environment

  • Contributing to the wider school community and pastoral support as needed

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

  • Experience working in a secondary school setting

  • A proactive, patient and adaptable approach to supporting young people

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
