Level 2 Teaching Assistant - FULL-TIME (S70)

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a 'Good' primary school located in Barnsley, S70. The school is searching for a passionate teaching assistant to start full-time from September to support across KS1.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual who wants to help improve the quality of education for young pupils in the S70 area. The school is very easily accessible with excellent transport links. You will work under the instruction/guidance of the class teacher and other SLT members to enable the care and support of the pupils. Your role will involve work inside and outside the classroom, whilst enabling the learning of pupils within your care.

If you are looking for your next full-time role in the next academic year, then this is the role for you.

You will:

  • Have good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Have a Level 2/3 NVQ for teaching assistants or equivalent, or have relevant work experience
  • Training or experience in relevant learning strategies
  • Be engaging, have a positive attitude and provide
  • Shown initiative and be confident to get involved in all areas of the school
  • Be available full-time and committed to a temporary role in September
