Learning Support Mentor - Wigan
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a client secondary school in Wigan who are looking to take on a dedicated Learning Support Mentor ASAP.
As a Learning Support Mentor, you will support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural issues which is affecting their ability to learn. The secondary school located in Wigan serves a catchment area which has high levels of socio-economic deprivation. As a result, the role of Learning Support Mentor is vital in ensuring all pupils have an equal chance at reaching their full potential in education.
Role and responsibilities of a Learning Support Mentor:
- Supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural issues in small groups and on 1:1
- Delivering tailored learning activities to promote subject engagement and attainment
- Working closely with the school's SENCO, pastoral team and teachers to ensure the needs of each individual are met
- Confident dealing with challenging behaviours, adopting a flexible approach to learning.

- Earn up to £1200 per month, paid weekly!
