Learning Support Assistant

Join a vibrant secondary school in Manchester seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant on a full-time temporary basis.

The successful candidate will support individual students and small groups of students with Special Educational Needs in class and one-to-one. They will provide encouragement and reassurance to students whilst always encouraging independence. Additionally they will monitor and provide feedback to the school SENCO.

The ideal Learning Support Assistant will:

  • Have experience working with secondary aged students (11-18)
  • Have experience working with young people with Special Educational Needs
  • Be able to respond to the needs of each individual student
  • Work well independently and as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
