A KS3 / 4 School in the Preston area is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for the rest of the academic year. 

The School is smaller than average and class sizes are generally under 10 pupils per class. 

The School are hoping to appoint a long term learning support assistant for the rest of the academic year. The School provides education and support for KS3 / 4 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, ASC, ADHD, ODD and Challenging Behaviours. The School are looking to appoint a forward thinking, enthusiastic, empathetic and resilient Support Assistant for a role in their School. Staff in School are very welcoming, supportive and energetic. They are looking for a hard working candidate with a good sense of humour to join their growing team. 

The candidate must be available full time, School hours are 8.35am - 3pm and candidates must be available to stay late once a month for CPD sessions. The candidate will be looking for a long term role and you must be passionate about supporting pupils who are often disengaged from education. 

The candidate will be hard working, empathetic and confident when working with pupils who display challenging behaviours. 

Team Teach trained candidates will be favoured but this is not essential, however all candidates must have experience working with children or adults who have SEMH Difficulties. 

The successful candidate will benefit from: 

- Negotiable pay rates GBP57 - 67 per day dependent on experience. 

- Long term position. 

- Access to TP's CPD academy which includes Team Teach. 

- Rewarding role.
