Learning Support Assistant

Job description

Join a large secondary school in Bolton, working alongside identified pupils on a 1:1 basis that have additional learning needs.

  • Full-time Learning Support Assistant.
  • Required from April 2021 or earlier.
  • Support and mentor students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis where needed.
  • Earn up to GBP1400 per month, depending on your previous experience.

Working as a learning support assistant will involve monitoring pupil progress and reporting these back to senior members of staff. The incoming LSA will be supporting pupils at varying levels of learning ability with additional needs such as dyslexia and dyspraxia.

To be considered for this role it is important that the incoming candidate has some form of experience in a transferrable role to work within education.

Our client school is based in Bolton and can be accessed via the M62 from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester for those who have their own transportation. For applicants that do not drive, the school is also easily accessible via several forms of public transport with links to areas such as Bury and Salford.
