Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work in primary schools across the Southampton area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children during a key stage of their educational development.

The Role

Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
Working one-to-one or in small groups to help pupils engage with the curriculum
Assisting class teachers with learning activities and behaviour management
Providing emotional and social support to encourage confidence and independence
Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Requirements

Experience working with children (school-based experience is desirable but not essential)
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A genuine interest in supporting young learners and pupils with SEN
An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
