Job description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join a welcoming and inclusive SEN high school in Salford this September, full time.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive school environment, helping students with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students across KS3 and KS4

  • Work closely with class teachers and SENCO to support tailored learning plans

  • Help manage behaviour and encourage engagement in lessons

  • Support personal care or mobility needs if required (training can be provided)

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working in an SEN or school setting is preferred

  • Empathetic, patient, and adaptable individuals with a genuine desire to support students

  • A team player with good communication skills and a proactive attitude

  • DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)

  • Full Time (Monday to Friday) - No Part Time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
