Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant for a Secondary School in Northamptonshire!

About the Role:

This is a rare opportunity to be part of a newly launched specialist provision, supporting students with ASD, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA). You will play a key role in shaping the foundation and best practices of the provision as it grows.

Working under the guidance of the DSP Lead, you will:

• Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to students based on their individual needs
• Assist in delivering high-quality interventions and adapted curriculum access
• Work closely with a collaborative team of experienced educators and external specialist agencies
• Foster an environment where all students feel safe, respected, and able to thrive

• A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting students with special educational needs
• Experience working with young people, particularly those with ASD and associated learning needs, is highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
