Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit an Academic Mentor for a Secondary School in Corby, Northamptonshire!


Maths Academic Mentor
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time

Salary: £27,711.00 - £30,559.00 Annually (FTE)


We are looking for an energetic and dedicated Maths Academic Mentor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passionate and unwavering commitment to pupil achievement and a strong belief in the potential of all young people. Our Maths faculty is made up of 10 teaching staff, from senior leaders to early career professionals, all committed to excellence and teamwork. We pride ourselves on the strong support we provide to both students and colleagues. Our Maths outcomes are consistently above average and continue to improve.

About the Role:

As an Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in making a real difference to students’ learning. You will work closely with students, either one-to-one or in small groups, providing targeted support to help them reach their full potential. Using a range of strategies and support programmes, you will build relationships, boost confidence, and inspire young people across various year groups.

Working alongside teachers, you will focus on students who need the most support, tailoring your approach based on their individual needs and your own skills and experience.
