We are looking for experienced and aspiring actors to use their confidence and exuberant personality to take on supporting roles within mainstream primary schools in Kingston, Twickenham and Richmond.
Charismatic and forward-thinking individuals with stage performing experience are welcome to apply for this unique opportunity, as we believe passion and a drive to succeed is what is needed to make a true impact on the educational progression of the primary age pupils.
We appreciate that you will have to take auditions at short notice, and as a result we would look to accommodate an always changing schedule.
You will therefore be offered part time, regular work at a school that recognises your ability and will look to work on a flexible basis around you.
As a primary teaching assistant, your acting experience and confidence alone will make a great asset to a member of the schools support staff team. We can assure successful applicants that their skills will continually be put to use within the classroom, in order to maintain pupils focus on set tasks and develop their learning ability through continuous one to one support, and small group work.
If you possess any of the following then you are highly desirable for this role:
- A Degree (BA, Masters)
- Training (Team Teach, Norfolk/ Cambridge Steps)
- A Level Qualifications in Drama and/or theatre studies
- Drama School Training/Experience
- Support Work Experience
- Audition Experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
