Key Stage 2 Learning Support Assistant – Fareham
Full Time | Until Christmas (Potential to Extend) | September Start

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Fareham, who are looking to appoint a full-time Learning Support Assistant to join their Key Stage 2 team from September until Christmas, with the possibility of continuing into 2026.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in Years 3–6, working closely with teaching staff to provide tailored classroom assistance and targeted interventions. The role involves one-to-one support, small group work, and in-class support, depending on the needs of the pupils.
You’ll be helping to boost confidence, encourage independence, and keep learning on track – all while being a reliable, positive presence in the classroom.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:

Has previous experience in a school or educational setting (desirable but not essential)

Can build strong relationships with children and staff alike
-
Has a proactive approach and can adapt to a range of learning needs
-
Is confident supporting literacy, numeracy, and social skills development
-
Brings energy, patience, and a good sense of humour to the role
Whether you're an experienced LSA or someone with transferable skills from youth work, care, or tutoring – your support can make a real difference.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
