Key Stage 2 Learning Support Assistant – Fareham

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Fareham, who are looking to appoint a full-time Learning Support Assistant to join their Key Stage 2 team from September until Christmas, with the possibility of continuing into 2026.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in Years 3–6, working closely with teaching staff to provide tailored classroom assistance and targeted interventions. The role involves one-to-one support, small group work, and in-class support, depending on the needs of the pupils.

You’ll be helping to boost confidence, encourage independence, and keep learning on track – all while being a reliable, positive presence in the classroom.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has previous experience in a school or educational setting (desirable but not essential)

• Can build strong relationships with children and staff alike

• Has a proactive approach and can adapt to a range of learning needs

• Is confident supporting literacy, numeracy, and social skills development

• Brings energy, patience, and a good sense of humour to the role
