Learning Support Assistant – South Manchester

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a client secondary school based in South Manchester who are seeking a Learning Support Specialist to start in March. The school is looking for someone who can come in full-time, 5 days a week. An ideal candidate will have experience supporting disengaged students.

The role will involve lots monitoring of students and working alongside Heads of Years 10 and 11, to identify the pupils that would benefit from additional support and highlighting development and progress in specific care plans prior to important GCSE examinations.

The school is located in Didsbury and is just a 10-minute walk from tram links and bus stops that go in and out of Manchester city centre. The school also boasts a large staff car park.

All applicants will require appropriate qualifications and Right to Work in the UK in order to be considered for this role. You will need to have or be willing to apply for an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS that is then registered on the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
