We’re looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Christchurch. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to play a key role in supporting pupils academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who need additional support

  • Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN), learning difficulties, or behavioural challenges

  • Assist class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

  • Monitor and report on student progress and well-being

  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children in an educational or support setting

  • A caring, patient, and adaptable approach

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of SEN strategies (desirable but not essential)

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant Certificate, or equivalent)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
