We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our highly valued Resource Provision team in Chichester. This specialist setting supports students with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Speech and Language needs, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and therapists to deliver tailored learning and emotional support to pupils with EHCPs. You will help create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment where children feel valued and empowered to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual learning plans

  • Help implement strategies to develop independence, communication, and confidence

  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO, teaching staff, and external agencies

  • Support pupils with personal care (if required) and emotional regulation strategies

  • Contribute to EHCP reviews and progress tracking

What We’re Looking For:

  • A calm, empathetic, and patient approach

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND (desirable)

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a supportive setting

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
