I have a school seeking Learning Support Assistants in Hayes. They are looking for support staff to join their friendly staff with on a short term basis, with the potential for the role to go long term dependent on performance. Candidates will need some experience working with children with SEN or challenging behaviour.

LSAs and Behaviour mentors needed in Hayes

Details about the role are below:

  • Candidates will need experience with challenging behaviour or working with children with SEN
  • The ideal applicant will have a degree (e.g. BSc, BA, BEd)
  • The school received a rating of "outstanding" as the strong leadership has continued the schools development
  • It would be a full-time role, working 5 days-a-week from 7:30-14:30
  • The daily pay rate ranges from £60-110 a-day depending on experience and qualifications
  • A short walk from Hayes & Harlington station

The Role

The school are looking to hire LSAs and behaviour specialists to join their committed and dedicated team. The role would start ASAP with interviews commencing this week and next as the schools plan to have their staffing organised as early as possible. The ideal candidate will have experience with challenging behaviour and SEN at several schools. This specific role will require candidates to work on a 1:1 basis and with small groups, as such, experience in a variety of different size groups would be ideal.

The School

The school aims to build student confidence and provide them with the qualifications needed to build a future at university or elsewhere. There is an expectation of high commitment from students, staff and parents to ensure the high teaching standards are continued.

Ofsted have rated the school as "outstanding" as leaders and governors have worked to raise student achievement. They stated:

"students' spiritual, moral, social and cultural skills are well developed."

The high quality teaching at the school means the curriculum meets the needs of students of all abilities.

Location

The school is accessible via Hayes and Harlington station and is a 8 minute walk from the school.
