Teaching Personnel are looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work with Special Educational Needs children who have varied learning and physical needs. This SEN caters for pupils between the ages of 2 - 18 in the Bordon area of North Hampshire. You will be assisting the class teacher to carry out lesson plans, while supporting the children's learning and development. Getting involved with all class activities and making sure that the children reach their full potential.

About the candidate:

The TA position requires a confident candidate who will have the skills and abilities to work in a challenging environment and be flexible enough to work on their own initiate and in a variety of situations.

- You will need to have previous experience working in an SEN environment

- Be flexible and adaptable to the needs and requirements of the school and its pupils

- Demonstrate the ability to engage with pupils at all levels

- Have a minimum of GCSE grades A - C in Maths and English

About the school:

Pupils are aged between 2-18 years, and range from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4. They have Complex Learning and Physical Difficulties to include:

- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties

- Severe Learning Difficulties

- Lower end Moderate Learning Difficulties

- Speech and Language

You will need to get involved with the pupils and staff from the start, and a genuine interest in Special Needs is a must. Cover is required 08:30 - 15:30 each day, and you will be welcome to spend a trial day at the school, upon completion of a vetting process.

Teaching Personnel also have a CPD Academy where you will have exclusive access to a range of online courses, in order to keep your training up to date.
