We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 (KS1) team for the Autumn Term.
The Role:
As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the classroom. Working closely with the class teacher, you will help deliver engaging lessons, support individual pupils and small groups, and contribute to creating a positive and stimulating learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day teaching and learning activities in the KS1 classroom
-
Work one-to-one and with small groups to reinforce learning objectives
-
Assist in preparing classroom materials and setting up activities
-
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teaching team
-
Help manage pupil behaviour in line with school policies
-
Support pupils with additional needs to fully access the curriculum
-
Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Person Specification:
-
Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
-
Previous experience in a KS1 setting is desirable
-
Demonstrate patience, care, and enthusiasm
-
Able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and independently when required
-
Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
