Job Duties:
The KS3 SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored educational support to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs. Duties include creating individualised learning plans, delivering lessons in accordance with the national curriculum, assessing student progress, and collaborating with other educators and parents to ensure the academic success of each student.
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
- Knowledge of the Key Stage 3 curriculum
Education:
A degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a Special Educational Needs setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in SEN teaching
- Experience with assessment and education planning for SEN students
Working Conditions:
The KS3 SEN Tutor will work in a school environment, collaborating with other educators and support staff. The role may involve working one-on-one with students or in small groups. The tutor must be flexible in their approach to teaching and able to adapt to the unique needs of each student.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
