Teaching Personnel and the Liverpool Archdiocese are currently working in partnership and one of our client Catholic Schools in St Helens are recruiting for a Geography Teacher to start asap to cover a long term sickness.

The School are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic, reliable and passionate Geography Teacher for the remainder of the academic year covering a planned absence in their Humanities department.

The School:

A voluntary-aided, 11-16 co-educational comprehensive Catholic High School in the St. Helens Authority in the North West of England. There are 731 pupils on roll of whom 45% are baptised Catholic, with 33% from other Christian denominations, and 22% from other faith or religious traditions. It is a 'Good' school with an 'Outstanding' Catholic ethos and it is amongst the highest performing in the local area. The Head Teacher is a strong leader and the SLT are on hand for support and guidance for any incoming supply staff.

The role:

- start date - ASAP

- Full-time, Mon-Fri (allocated PPA/Planning time)

- KS3/4 Geography (new AQA Geography Spec.)

Teaching Personnel are proud to announce our official partnership with the Liverpool Archdiocese and its 230 schools and our Liverpool branch is currently seeking Geography Teachers. In addition to this vacancy, we have a number of our secondary client schools seeking Teachers due to high demand.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
