KS2 Teaching Assistant required - Thornbury

The SENCo of a fantastic school in Thornbury are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, flexible and committed general KS2 Teaching Assistant. This role requires a general classroom support assistant to work alongside the class teacher in order to support the children who may need additional help as well as helping with all aspects of day-to-day learning. The successful applicant may be asked to work in other classrooms or with students on a 1:1 basis depending on the requirements of the school and applicants; therefore, a teaching assistant is flexible and reliable.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
*Has experience of providing interventions and working in small groups.
*Has experience of delivering 1:1 support.
*Is patient nurturing and empathetic.
*Has good behaviour and classroom management.
*Able to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with the students, parents and staff.
*Is reliable, organised and committed
