Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a General Teaching Assistant in Pickering, who will be able to undertake short term, day to day and longer term bookings in the area.

We are currently working with a Junior School, who require someone who will be able to support their Key Stage 2 classes and effectively support all areas of the curriculum.

As a Teaching Assistant within this role, you will have the opportunity to undertake a variety of responsibilities: providing whole class support; providing 1:1 support and also providing small group support for the intervention and tuition.

As a supply Teaching Assistant, you be able to gain experience of working in a variety of schools and roles. There is always the opportunity for longer term work to arise.

Those who apply would ideally hold a Level 2 qualification or higher but applications from those who have relevant experience will also be considered.
