Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a one form entry Primary School in Ashford to start in September. This is a full-time role with the potential of it being a permanent position for the right candidate. The start date will be subject to current school closures.

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:
• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
• Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Provide a CV with at least 6 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
• Have the legal right to work in the UK

About the school

We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant on behalf of a caring and dedicated school, where all staff understand the importance of valuing each individual child and ensuring they progress effectively, both academically and socially. This school offers a rich and varied environment within which all children will believe they can achieve and succeed in all their endeavours.

The behaviour of pupils is good, and pupils are respectful towards each other. They have very positive attitudes towards learning and they make good progress across all areas of learning.

The school is based in Ashford and is accessible via car.

About the role

This OFSTED 'Good' primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work across their KS2 department. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management and a good knowledge of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.

The role itself will involve supporting the class teachers from Year 3 to Year 6, helping with the delivery of the National Curriculum. You will be required to work with small groups or students on a 1:1 basis to deliver Maths and English intervention lessons.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
