General KS2 Teaching Assistant – Trafford, Sale (M33)

Are you comfortable with the KS2 Curriculum and are looking for a long term role?
Teaching Personnel are working alongside one of their partner Primary schools in the Trafford, Sale (M33) area to help with the appointment of a KS2 Teaching Assistant. The role is to begin after the October half term and will be on a full time fixed term basis for the remainder of the academic year. There is the potential of being taken onto a permanent school based contract.
The Trafford, Sale (M33) Primary School is looking for an experienced and proactive Teaching Assistant to work initially within a Year 3 class. The role is a general class based role and the successful applicant will be expected to lead interventions within both Maths, English and Phonics. It is important that the successful applicant is comfortable with working with both lower and higher ability groups.
To be considered for this role you must have the following:
- Previous KS2 experience
- Familiar and display sound understanding of Phonics
- Comfortable with taking small group interventions
- Display sound knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
- An enhanced DBS registered with the update service
