KS2 Teacher – Sheffield & Barnsley | Immediate & September Starts

Are you an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Sheffield or Barnsley? We are supporting a number of welcoming and well-resourced primary schools in the area seeking Key Stage 2 teachers for both immediate starts and September 2025.


Locations: Sheffield & Barnsley

Role: Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6) Teacher

Start Date: ASAP or September 2025

⏰ Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time | Long-Term, Supply, or Temp-to-Perm


✏️ Role Overview:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum
  • Support pupils’ academic and personal development
  • Use a range of strategies to manage behaviour positively and effectively
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and parents
  • Track and assess pupil progress to ensure positive outcomes

✅ Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching KS2 in a primary school setting
  • Good knowledge of the national curriculum for Years 3–6
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Passion for education and a commitment to pupil progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
