Job description

ECT or Experienced Teacher required for KS2 Class- 'GOOD' Primary School, Morecambe (LA4) 

  • KS2 Teacher needed for full-time maternity cover starting June 2026
  • Suitable for both ECTs and experienced teachers
  • Supportive SLT full induction support for Early Careers Teachers
  • Full time role that is easily accessible by public transport and car. 

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a 'GOOD' Primary School in Morecambe (LA4). The Primary School are seeking a dedicated Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from after May half-term 2026. This is a full-time maternity cover position that runs for a full year, so the school are looking for a teacher who will be able to commit to the post until at least February 2027, with the possibility of an extension. 

The school prides itself on its inclusive child-centred approach and the Head Teacher is looking for a passionate KS2 Teacher who can bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive outlook to add to their KS2 department. The successful candidate will receive consistent support from SLT and the KS2 team. 

Ideally, the candidate will have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and have secure knowledge of the KS2 Curriculum. The suitable candidate will have strong behaviour management skills and the ability to adapt their lessons to suit the needs of the learners within the class. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for both newly qualified and experience primary teachers looking to work in a supportive and forward-thinking school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
