About the Role

We are recruiting a full-time Primary Teacher to join our friendly, supportive school community in Clitheroe. The successful candidate will be placed in a year group that best matches their strengths and experience. We welcome applications from teachers with a passion for EYFS, KS1 or KS2.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin their career in a nurturing and forward‑thinking school.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Assess and track pupil progress effectively.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an exciting curriculum.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers.
Contribute to wider school life and enrichment activities.

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience in any primary phase (EYFS/KS1/KS2).
Strong behaviour management and relationship‑building skills.
A reflective, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
