Full-Time Primary Teacher – Clitheroe (September 2026 Start)

Location: Clitheroe, Lancashire
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: September 2026

About the Role

We are recruiting a full-time Primary Teacher to join our friendly, supportive school community in Clitheroe. The successful candidate will be placed in a year group that best matches their strengths and experience. We welcome applications from teachers with a passion for EYFS, KS1 or KS2.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin their career in a nurturing and forward‑thinking school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess and track pupil progress effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an exciting curriculum.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers.
  • Contribute to wider school life and enrichment activities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience in any primary phase (EYFS/KS1/KS2).
  • Strong behaviour management and relationship‑building skills.
  • A reflective, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
