Full-Time PPA Teacher – Primary School (Burnley)

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PPA (Planning, Preparation & Assessment) Teacher to join our friendly and supportive primary school team in Burnley. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys working flexibly across year groups and supporting high-quality teaching and learning throughout the school.

In this full-time role, you will provide release time for class teachers from EYFS through to Year 6, delivering engaging, well-planned lessons that inspire pupils and maintain continuity of learning. You will work closely with teaching teams to ensure a smooth transition into each class and contribute positively to our whole-school community.

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching across multiple primary year groups (EYFS, KS1, and KS2).
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships quickly.
  • A creative and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to promoting high standards and supporting the school’s values.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
