KS2 Teacher

A South Leeds Primary School are looking for a KS2 Teacher to take their mixed Year 5/6 class for the entire Autumn term of next academic year, as their current teacher is currently off on a long-term sickness absence and will not return until January 2021 at the earliest.

The Leeds Primary School want to take a Teacher through the agency initially for a term from September - December. They absolutely need someone with KS2 experience, who is confident with both handling children of this age and has sound knowledge of the KS2 curriculum as some of the children will be catching up after the lockdown period to prepare for the SATs next year. The school is rated as GOOD by Ofsted and is a 2 form entry school. 

The school need a candidate who is confident in KS2 and with behaviour management, as the class in question respond well to a firm teacher who maintains good control of the class. There are lots of capable children in the class but behaviour can at times be noisy and distracting, so the school require a confident teacher who can establish good relationships to prevent this detracting from the learning.
