Full-Time KS2 Teaching Assistant – Blackburn

We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic full-time KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Blackburn.
About the Role:

Position: KS2 Teaching Assistant
-
Location: Blackburn
-
Contract: Full-time (Monday – Friday, term time only)
-
Start Date: After Half Term
Key Responsibilities:
-
Supporting class teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
-
Working with small groups and individual pupils to boost progress and confidence
-
Assisting with classroom management and day-to-day activities
-
Supporting children with additional needs, where required
-
Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Experience working in a primary school setting (KS2 experience desirable)
-
A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above preferred)
-
A patient, caring and flexible approach to learning support
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
