This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, youth work, social work, or child development. You'll gain hands-on experience supporting pupils and helping them achieve their full potential in a classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities.
Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
Help students remain focused, engaged, and motivated.
Provide pastoral and emotional support where required.
Assist with classroom preparation and organisation.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.

Requirements

Experience working with children is essential.
Experience can be from a variety of professional settings, including:
- Sports coaching
- Youth clubs
- Tutoring
- Holiday clubs
- Mentoring programmes
- Community-based child support roles
Experience must be professional and fully referenceable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive, patient, and proactive approach.
No formal teaching assistant qualification is required.
