Overview of the Role
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a 1 form entry Primary School in the Heart of Skelmersdale (WN8), the school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work alongside their Year 2 Teacher to provide specialist to small groups. This school are looking to secure a Teaching Assistant to start in school ASAP. This role will be 30 hours per week working from 8:45-3:15. This role will be for the entire academic year with the potential for a permanent contract from September 2019. The school are looking for an practitioner who has experience working alongside younger children, you do not have to have had experience in a school setting, however experience working with young children is essential. Despite being a mainstream Primary School, experience working alongside children with additional needs is advantageous due to their high SEN intake.

This is a new role therefore there may be the opportunity for a permanent contract at the end of the academic year."

I personally work with Primary Schools across Preston, Chorley, Leyland, Skelmersdale and Ormskirk. CPD courses include; Team Teach, Autism Awareness, PREVENT DUTY and Safeguarding and Child Protection Level 1 and 2.
