KS1 Teaching Assistant in Manchester, September start

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Primary school in Central Manchester, M16 region to help with the recruitment of an experienced Teaching Assistant to work within Key Stage one. The role will be starting in September and will be on a full time basis for the full academic year.

This "Outstanding" Ofsted rated Primary School in Manchester is looking for a proactive and experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant to join the school in September. The school has stated that it is essential you be Phonics trained and comfortable with taking small group interventions of around 6-8 pupils for Phonics lessons. The role will involve mainly working within the year 1 class with the occasional support for the lower ability pupils in Year 2 via group work. There is mild SEN within the school and the classes' ability differentiates so it is essential you be able to differentiate between abilities in order to offer the best support possible for the pupils.

The school is a 1 form entry Primary school situated in central Manchester, M16. Receiving the grading of "Outstanding" in their most recent Ofsted report earlier this academic year the school has managed to maintain a high level of both results and behaviour across the school, it is vital that the candidate for the role also maintains the high level of standards for behaviour. "Pupils flourish academically and socially in this outstanding school because they are happy, feel safe and receive excellent care, guidance and support."
