Pay Rate: £120 - £232.56 per day (depending on experience)

Located in Garston and part of a well-regarded Church of England multi-academy trust, this school serves pupils aged 2–11, with a nursery and strong early years provision. The school has around 230 pupils on roll in a building designed for 210.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a KS1 Teacher (Reception/Year 1/Year 2) to join a nurturing and ambitious school in Garston. You'll deliver a vibrant KS1 curriculum, adapt teaching to diverse learning needs, and promote outstanding behaviour, building on the school’s reputation for excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and teach engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Monitor progress, conduct timely assessments, and tailor support for SEN pupils.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment and uphold the school’s high standards of behaviour.
  • Engage effectively with parents and external professionals to support each child’s learning journey.

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with KS1 teaching experience.
  • Strong classroom management and inclusive teaching skills.
  • Experience supporting students with additional needs.
  • Excellent communicator, collaborative team player, and passionate about pupil wellbeing.
