Job description

KS1 teacher required for day-to-day teaching responsibilities - L30 Primary School

Due to regular staff training being planned for the Summer term, a school in the Bootle (L30) area are seeking regular, familiar faces to fulfil short-term and day-to-day bookings. This would be a great opportunity for Teachers looking to secure regular work at the same school, whereby you can build and maintain relationships with pupils and staff alike.

- Judged to be Ofsted ‘GOOD’ across all areas

The school is an average sized Primary School serving Ormskirk, with a vast majority of children arriving in school with lower-than-average academic abilities. The school was most recently judged to be Good by Ofsted and has consistently raised standards in the past four years since its last inspection. The progress made by children from EYFS to Year 6 is GOOD for Reading Writing and Maths. The school is easy to travel to with car parking and excellent transport links available.

The KS1 teacher will take responsibility for the delivery of all Curriculum areas and lessons, so applicants with experience delivering the KS1 Curriculum to a high standard is advantageous. Experience of phonics is useful as would strong core subject knowledge.

Any KS1 teachers wishing to apply, must hold QTS or similar and have a relevant teaching-based qualification.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
