KS1/ KS2 Teachers Wanted

Are you seeking day-to-day, short or long term teaching assignments immediately or from September 2019?


As a day-to-day supply teacher, duties you will be responsible for include the handing out of pre-set work and ensuring that this is completed by the end of the lesson. You will also be responsible for providing pupils with necessary feedback, encouragement and support; marking of work may also be expected.


Long term supply teachers have the same teaching responsibilities as permanent members of staff. You will prepare lesson plans and teach pupils in accordance with the national curriculum. You will be responsible for marking students' work and giving feedback, constructive criticism and support when needed and/or appropriate.
You may be required to help students prepare for crucial examinations and admissions tests. Occasionally, you may also supervise pupils during events and projects outside of the classroom such as cultural outings, field trips and excursions. Long term supply teachers may even be given the responsibility of meeting with pupils' parents to discuss their academic progress at parents' evenings.


Applicants will need to hold QTS or be suitably qualified to be able to teach in schools in the UK as well as possessing effective classroom management strategies.
