Key Stage One Teacher- Oldham (OL4)

Teaching Personnel is working with a larger than average sized primary school in the Oldham area (OL4) to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced KS1 Teacher to work across both year groups. The role is full time and starts in september. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career.

The Primary School is part of a multi-academy trust, which is known for its high expectations for all students. The school has strong relationships with its surrounding community and has high expectation for all of the pupils. Students at this school make excellent progress due to the high standard of teaching. The students are well behaved, friendly and love to learn. The teachers make great lessons which cater to all of their students' individual needs, as well as creating exciting wall displays that enhance learning by providing prompts and key words.

This is an inclusive school with a high level of EAL. There is also a larger than average amount of SEN students. The SEN department is supportive for both staff and students. Differentiated learning is provided in order to help SEN students to progress well. Interventions are used for students who are falling behind, as well as booster classes, learning mentors and speech and Language therapists. The school uses resources such as sign-a-long, so experience with this would be very advantageous. There is also a sensory room as well as visual timetables.

The successful KS1 Teacher must be bubbly and be willing to interact with the students in order to enhance their learning. They MUST have experience and will be expected to mark and plan work. They must have a real passion for education and raising attainment.

To apply for this role applicants must:

  • Be enthusiastic and committed
  • Have the relevant teaching qualifications
  • Have a real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils you work with
  • Have experience working with Key Stage One students

The role is to start in september and offers a competitive rate.

If you are interested in this role, please email your CV and covering letter Alternatively, if you have any further questions about this role, or any other roles, please call Grace in the Manchester North Primary Branch on 0161 242 1790.
