Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a Special School in Stanley, Wakefield that is seeking a Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team on a full time, long term basis. The school has been graded Outstanding by Ofsted (March 2018) and is extremely accessible from motorway networks (M1/M62).
The school caters for students from ages 4-11 with additional needs including Autism, Sensory Impairment, Medical and Physical difficulties. All pupils have access to the schools facilities which include; gym, dining area, sensory room, soft play room, food technology room, therapy room, hydrotherapy pool and a large outdoor area including a woodland area.
Our client is looking for a passionate Teacher to join them on a full time supply basis to start in April (after the Easter Holidays). You will be teaching a small class of around 8 students with additional complex needs such as, multiple learning difficulties and Autism. Ideally, you will have experience teaching students with additional SEN such as Autism, Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties, Multiple Learning Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour.
The client school welcomes candidates with backgrounds in mainstream education and who are looking to transfer their invaluable skills to a specialist setting.
