Are you a passionate and committed Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for a new challenge in September?

Are you available Full Time and within travelling distance to Fulford, York?

Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a compassionate Key Stage 1 Teacher for class teaching and 1:1 intervention sessions at a 'Good' School in York.

The School:

The School is very well accessible by bus, train and car with plenty of parking on-site. In their last OFSTED inspection the Schools was graded 'Good' by OFSTED. With up to 250 pupils on roll a year, the School is highly sought after for pupils either excluded from mainstream education, or unable to access mainstream education. With personalised learning plans based on the individual, the School genuinely care for the students and want them to succeed in everything they do.

The Job:

As the class teacher, you will have a termly topic which you should plan for, delivering to 7 or 8 pupils at a time, with assistance from 2 or 3 Teaching Assistants. Afternoon sessions are made up of 1:1 intervention, using the pupil's individual learning plans to work on areas requiring improvement. The School follow the 'Letters and Sounds' phonics programme, with additional training from the School easily accessible.
