Location: Brierfield, Lancashire
Salary: M1-M6
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2026

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our friendly and supportive primary school in Brierfield from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences and helping children build strong foundations for future success. Applications are welcomed from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners.

The Role

As a Key Stage 1 Class Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons that inspire young learners.
  • Create a nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum aligned to Key Stage 1 expectations.
  • Assess pupil progress effectively and use this information to inform teaching.
  • Foster positive behaviour and high expectations for learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil achievement.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has a secure understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and strong behaviour management skills.
  • Has high expectations of all pupils and a commitment to raising standards.
  • Is enthusiastic, creative and passionate about primary education.
  • Is reflective and committed to their own professional development.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
