Job Advert: Primary School PPA Teacher– Full Time

We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic PPA teacher to join our team from September 2026. This is a full-time post at a well-established primary school in Burnley with a strong reputation in the local area.

We are keen to hear from teachers who are keen to make a difference in the classroom and who are committed to helping children achieve their best. You will be joining a friendly staff team where planning is shared across the year group, and there is a strong sense of working together.

The role will involve:

• Teaching from year 1 to year 6.
• Planning and delivering lessons that engage and challenge pupils
• Assessing progress and adapting teaching to meet pupils’ needs
• Working closely with your parallel class teacher and wider team
• Contributing to the wider life of the school

We are looking for someone who:

• Has Qualified Teacher Status
• Has high expectations of pupils’ learning and behaviour
• Builds positive relationships with children and colleagues
• Is organised, reliable and willing to get involved in school life
• Brings energy and a positive approach to the classroom

This role would suit both experienced teachers and those at an earlier stage in their career.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
