We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly motivated Year 5 Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive school community. Salary: £120 - £150 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time
Start Date: 2nd November 2026
About the Role
As our Year 5 Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, using data effectively to inform teaching.
- Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for all children.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and school events.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5.
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements.
- High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- A positive, flexible and proactive approach to teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
